My name is Tobias Chu and I'm a photographer. I created SixSixty Studios for the Hip and Modern because I was tired of seeing photographers and photo studios churning out generic, boring, cookie cutter type photos. I have a very unique post processing style that allows me the flexibility to create an extremely creative and memorable image. Feel free to browse through my portfolio to get a feel for my personality and style.
If you're engaged and looking for a photographer I'd love to hear from you. Go to the contact page and shoot me an email. A shooting session with me will be very casual. Just imagine yourself hanging out and having a great time with your significant other and your pseudo best friend (ME). I guarantee that I'll make you laugh. ;)
I currently travel between Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Vancouver but I'm available for work both nationally and internationally…so if you like what you see, let's work something out.
Sometimes I go on a shoot and end up having just as much, if not more fun as my clients do. This was one one of those shoots! :) Couldn’t have asked for better weather while up at Whistler. Those that live in Vancouver are seriously SERIOUSLY lucky!
Here’s a quick teaser from Quintina and Bong’s crazy wedding. Q&B have a crazy group of friends who are constantly laughing, singing, dancing, etc. You’ll see what I mean once the final wedding photos are uploaded. =] Also…stay tuned for some winter wonderland photos.

When I found out that I was going to be having an engagement shoot in Sydney, all I could think about was how nice the weather was going to be in December. SUMMERTIME BABY! Wellllll, guess what?…it didn’t happen! Australia is getting hit with some crazy weather these days and all we got was rain. [...]
Sorry folks, only allowed to show a few from this series. I’ll see if maybe they’ll let me post more. This shot looks amazing full screen by the way. :P
I hope everyone is ready for some more Hong Kong food photography. JAR, a new concept by 798 Unit & Co., has opened up right in the middle of Central on 8 Lyndhurst avenue (across from Hyde). Definitely stop by soon as this place will quickly become a neighborhood favorite. 3 words => Iberico Pork….YUM!
Boxing Cat Brewery was my local hangout back when I lived in Shanghai. It was a great place to unwind with a beer and just hang out with friends while watching some sports on the big screen. Now that I’ve left, they’ve opened up an even bigger place by Sinan Mansions…definitely check them out!
Back in Shanghai with more shots of Madison and Austin’s great food. I really wish this place was in Hong Kong as well. Continue on for some more food photography. :)
The next few posts will be shorter than usual as I’m sooooooo backed up in my editing. So today, here’s a quick teaser on Neel and Ivy’s Shanghai photography experience. Like me, they travel a ton and wanted an engagement shoot outside HK. Helloooooo Shanghai! Just when I think I’ve broken free of the ‘Hai…it [...]
Been shooting a ton lately so haven’t had much time to update my site. Here’s a quick teaser of a Bali wedding that I shot last month. Congrats again to Early and Chloe! :)

I love food…I love photography…enough said! :) Brought to you by the same peeps behind Monkey Bar, this French Bar/Bistro is located right in the middle of Dong hu road. Part of me wishes that I still lived in Shanghai as this place is just around the corner from my old apt. I guess they’ll [...]
I love photographing athletic couples….please look below to see why. Throw in some running, jumping, paddling, and a water fight, and you have the makings of some awesome engagement photography. :)
Here’s another quick teaser from a wedding I shot last month in HK. Valentina and Je-Woo had an extremely aggressive schedule planned for their wedding day that consisted of 2 ceremonies and about 7 or 8 costume changes. Thanks to Valentina’s excellent excel skills and some great coordinating from the wedding planners, everything went exceptionally [...]

I’m back in Hong Kong finally! Won’t be here long though, a shoot on Thursday night and then I’m off to Tokyo for a week. I have a ton of updates coming soon but for now, here’s a quick post on the Hamilton House in Shanghai.
Since returning from Bali, I’ve been in full editing mode. I’ve literally bolted the doors and refrained from eating/sleeping/bathroom breaks/etc. until I’ve finished a huge chunk of it. Really…I have! :) In the meantime, here’s another teaser of a wedding in Vancouver. *Millie: Hope you had a great time on your honeymoon…try to get some [...]

One of the things I miss most while living in Asia is the Vancouver summers. Agnes and Mark are already great looking people, but add along the amazing scenery of Vancouver and you have gold. We had a few delays on organizing this shoot while I was in Vancouver due to fireworks and crowds, but [...]
Here are some teasers of my first Hong Kong pre-wedding shoot. I had been meaning to post these photos awhile ago but have been mad busy lately with projects and weddings. Better late than never! ;)
