Singapore Photographer, Two Spirited Sisters & A Hong Kong Breeze: A West Kowloon Park Photoshoot

June 11, 2025

Who says a Singapore family photographer can’t moonlight in Hong Kong? I packed my camera, crossed a couple time zones, and found myself chasing giggles, cartwheels, and the occasional snack break at West Kowloon Cultural District Park—because when you’ve got two daughters with energy levels somewhere between “light jog” and “human tornado,” you run with it. Literally.

This beautiful family brought the love, the laughter, and some seriously coordinated outfits. The girls? Stars of the show. They twirled, jumped, danced like no one was watching (except me, with a zoom lens), and occasionally paused long enough to hug Mom and Dad—which, if you know kids, is basically an Olympic-level moment worth capturing.

West Kowloon Park was the dream setting: wide-open grass for maximum frolicking, harbour views that make any frame feel cinematic, and just enough breeze to give every photo that effortless, windswept editorial look (or, depending on the moment, “my hair’s eating my face” energy—equally iconic).

Why I Fell in Love with This Shoot (Besides the Snacks):

  • Sisters = pure comedy – Built-in best friends, built-in drama. Perfect for candid gold.
  • That Hong Kong skyline – Can someone put a spotlight on this location already? Absolute photo heaven.
  • The light, the vibe, the chaos – Basically, a travel photographer’s dream.
  • From SG to HK? Worth every mile. As a Singapore-based family photographer, I adore these destination sessions—they turn holidays into heirlooms.
