Whippet Wonders & Family Fun: A Pet-Friendly Photoshoot at Gardens by the Bay

June 4, 2025

Looking for a family photographer in Singapore who’s cool with a little chaos, a lot of laughs, and the occasional high-speed photobomb? You’re in the right place.

Meet Luna—the world’s fastest cuddle bug and resident queen of zoomies. This beautiful whippet joined her family for a playful, pet-friendly family photoshoot at The Meadow, right beside Gardens by the Bay. Between the wide-open space, stunning skyline views, and Luna’s four-legged energy bursts, it was the perfect recipe for fun, candid memories.

From the first click of the camera, Luna was ready to run. She zipped through the grass like a supermodel on a racetrack—ears flapping, tail wagging, and stealing the spotlight with every stride. Meanwhile, her humans kept up with big smiles, sweet moments, and a few spontaneous sprints of their own. (Bonus points for coordination!)

The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay was the perfect spot: spacious, dog-friendly, and bursting with natural light and vibrant greens. It’s one of my favorite places for a family photoshoot in Singapore, especially when dogs are involved. You get all the charm of the city skyline, minus the crowds—and with plenty of space for pups to play.

Planning a Pet-Friendly Family Photoshoot in Singapore? Here Are 5 Tips:

  1. Tire them out (just a little) – A short walk before the shoot helps your dog burn off excess energy and stay focused (or at least less wild).
  2. Bring the essentials – Think treats, water, poop bags, and their favorite toy to help get their attention.
  3. Use a stylish leash – We can always edit it out, but a nice-looking leash blends better in photos if it needs to stay on.
  4. Choose the right location – Open spaces like The Meadow are ideal for dog-friendly photoshoots in Singapore.
  5. Let go of perfection – The best shots are always the spontaneous ones—muddy paws, flying ears, goofy grins and all.

As a pet and family photographer in Singapore, I believe every session should feel like you—full of movement, love, and real-life moments (even if they involve chasing a whippet mid-sprint).

Want to include your dog in your next family photoshoot? Let’s capture all the joy—furry chaos included. Woof Woof!
